notebooks and blocnotes made of high quality Japanese paper and a simple
but strong Japanese style binding. However, the most special thing about
this book is hidden behind its cover. The inside consists of up to thirteen
heavyweight (once sent) envelopes that have been collected and made suitable
for logging ideas and drawings.
Also photos and notes could be stuck into the pages of the book.
The filosophies of urban mining and creating short material loops played an important role when designing the return system behind the notebooks. Main idea is to keep collection, production and selling of the books as direct and local as possible. Envelopes are supplied by a network of companies and individuals who collect their envelopes. Furthermore people buying an EnvelopeBook can send collected envelopes to us. When doing so, they receive a refund on their purchases. In July 2010 we launced a dedicated site www.envelopebook.com where the range of paper products is presented and offered in the integrated webshop.
