Z E N B U H A S H I <all chopsticks> in Japan a lot of disposable chopsticks (waribashi) are being used daily. They are available everywhere and used only once. As a result a lot of good wood is being dumped.

The objective of the "zenbuhashi" project was to make full use of the quality of the waribashi and to give people a different perspective on what they throw out. The chopsticks were made slightly more durable. As a result they can be re-used. By using those re-enforced chopsticks one makes a clear statement.
